Hennes & Mauritz unveils new classic line

Swedish fashion company Hennes and Mauritz Group(H&M) has started this concept, which has been all about offering suits, shirts and ties that are not only stylish but also of a higher quality while at the same time keeping H&M-affordable prices.

This fall, the big thing for H&M Man Modern Classic is flannel. The suits come in brown, black and grey, some of them with pinstripes. And everything is, as usual, of a high quality level when it comes to materials and finishes. Furthermore, there is a corresponding full range of suits in Super 100's wool, as well as some tweeds.

They also believe strongly in matching shirts and ties in the same color this fall, says Margareta van den Bosch. The shirts are 100 Percent long fibre cotton in single color, stripes or checks. Most of the ties are handmade in Italy, from pure silk and with woven patterns. There is also a line of knitwear and some accessories, like handkerchiefs and belts.

The model for this fall's campaign is Spanish rising-star footballer Luis Garcia, 27, who was instrumental in Liverpool's triumph over AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League final in May of this year.

Hennes and Mauritz sell fashion and cosmetics in Europe and USA.
