Stage Stores to appear at New York conference on Sept 8

Branded fashion products seller Stage Stores Inc announced management will make a presentation at the Roth Capital Partners New York Conference on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The conference is taking place at The Westin New York at Times Square.
A live webcast of the presentation will be available. To access the webcast, log on to the Company's web site and then click on Investor Relations, then Webcasts, then the webcast link. A replay of the presentation will be available for 30 days following the conference.
