Tandy Leather to open retail store in La Mesa, CA

Texas based leading Leatherwear Company Tandy Leather Factory Inc announced that it is opening a Tandy Leather retail store in La Mesa, California. The store is expected to open for business later this week. This is the sixth retail store opened in 2005 and brings the total number of Tandy Leather retail stores to 48.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Wray Thompson, commented, "California is a solid market for us and leathercraft in general. As a result, this La Mesa store is fourth retail store in the state. Broderick Simons, who has been managing Minneapolis store for the last two years, has been transferred to run this new store in La Mesa. Johan Potgieter is taking over the Minneapolis store. He's been working in Minneapolis for more than a year and has a strong background in leatherwork."
US based Tandy Leather Factory Inc headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, is a specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of a broad product line including leather, leatherworking tools, buckles and adornments for belts, leather dyes and finishes, saddle and tack hardware, and do-it-yourself kits. The Company distributes its products as The Leather Factory through its wholesale distribution centers and as Tandy Leather Company through its retail stores.
