Speciality jewelry retailer H.Samuel announces the launch of online shopping at its website www.hsamuel.co.uk. This creates the leading integrated, multi-channel shopping capability within the UK speciality jewellery sector.
The site, which is designed with a leading edge search and navigation system, will offer a comprehensive selection of jewellery for purchase online in the UK; some 2,200 product lines – including diamond and other gem-set jewellery, gold and silver jewelry, watches and gifts.
H.Samuel's pricing and returns policies are the same for online shopping as for in-store purchases. Customers can choose between next-day delivery to any UK address and collection from one of 391 H.Samuel stores nationwide. Similarly returns can be made by post or in-store, which offers immediate refunds.
Customer telephone support is provided by a dedicated team in the Group's existing Birmingham call centre facility. Credit and debit card transactions are processed securely and incorporate a number of online fraud prevention procedures.
The launch of this integrated capability has been supported by an extensive communication programme involving all 391 H.Samuel store managers in 30 briefing meetings held around the country.
