“In developing all Timberland PRO products, we look to make distinct and noticeable improvements in the performance, comfort and fit of our footwear,” said Bob McCarthy, senior product manager for Timberland PRO. “With Timberland PRO BLACK series, we also recognized the importance of style and used only the finest materials to ensure the most professional look.”
The Timberland PRO BLACK series also features Timberland's exclusive PreciseFit system; a breakthrough technology that uses foot bed inserts to ensure optimal fit. Each pair comes with a set of inserts of varying thicknesses, which allows for size differences between left and right feet, creating a customized, comfortable fit.
For retailers, the PreciseFit system has tangible benefits – better stock position, fewer employee runs to the stockroom and greater customer satisfaction – all of which can dramatically improve inventory turn and increase top line revenue growth.

The Timberland PRO BLACK series promises comfort and customer satisfaction with a 30-Day Comfort Guarantee. Seven styles will be available in spring 2008, all constructed with premium leather. Men's styles include Mezza, Enclave, Remark and Foray, in sizes 7 - 13.5. Women's styles include Birchline, Parkset and Cedarbank, in sizes 5 - 11.5.
The following styles will be available in Fall 2008. Men's styles include Terrene and Mond, in sizes 7 - 13.5. Women's styles include Rosette and Springtide in sizes 5 - 11.5.
