Oldest Swiss Watchmaker Vacheron Constantin founded in 1755. It was around the middle of the 18th century that a young master watchmaker called Jean-Marc Vacheron decided to open his own workshop. A well-read humanist as well as a gifted craftsman, the young entrepreneur was to found a tradition that has thrived ever since. Two and a half centuries later, his legacy has grown into one of the leading names in the art and science of time.
