Naughty theme of Abhishek & Nandita receive lots of applauds

The designer duo Abhishek Gupta & Nandita Basu presented a young, free minded collection of street-wear inspired winter ensembles for men and women.
Short woollen belted jackets with many utility detailings such as patch pockets, zips, contrasting flatlock seams, decorative topstitching were coordinated with ballooning skirts and cropped pants to create an urban street chic.
The knitted tops displayed the brand's signature style cartoon motifs. These as well as bold graffiti were executed as placement or allover prints and sometimes emphasized through golden foil prints. A metallic sheen could be seen on a fresh interpretation of a grey/silver/black camouflage poncho as well as a sporty blouson made from the same fabric with additional quilting.
The materials were ranging from denims to jerseys, velvets, wools and brocades.
Oversized and colour shaded polka dots for overcoats and knitted tops added originality to the imaginative charisma of the ensembles. Innovative and unusual shapes called attention to the hemlines of various styles. The hems were cut in the form of curves with gathered fabrics or with attached multicolour rib.
Most outfits were coordinated with coloured leggings to give a warm and fresh sporty feel. The daring and creative combination of materials as well as the enterprising usage of naughty theme prints created a young and bold look one can look forward to for autumn/winter 2008/09.
