Revv, the sternly elegant men's jewellery steel brand by the the country's largest integrated jewellery manufacturer, the effervescent Gitanjali Group has acquired the sponsorship rights of the Kolkata Tigers Team at the Indian Cricket League (ICL).

Kicking off the exciting sport, the Edelweiss 20s Challenge promises 30-days of non-stop pulsating cricket which will be held in three locations: Hyderabad, Chandigarh (Panchkula) and Gurgaon from March 9th to April 7th, 2008.

After establishing itself as a prominent player in the gems and jewellery industry, the company has ventured into lifestyle and is now making an endeavor to reach our wider base of audience by associating itself with the field of sports.

Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Adri Voorn, Executive Director - Gitanjali Gems Ltd, states, "Gitanjali Group would like to be at the heart of young India. Cricket in India is more than a sport.

Iit has a cult status, we are glad to be associated with this magnificent game that is the singular most unifying force in a diverse country like India.”

“Revv – a high-fashion jewellery range in steel is definitely a style statement of the iconic metrosexual men. The ICL is indeed a great platform to promote this brand.

After Bollywood, it is sportsmen who have acts indelible impressions on the Indian minds. Just the way cricket matches are a fever in the country, we believe that our Revv range of jewellery would score high” Mr Voorn added.
