Cotton County, the flagship fashion brand of the Rs. 100 crore Nahar Retail Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited (NIEL), launched its first exclusive brand outlet (EBO) in Anantnag showcasing its ready – to – wear garments.

This heralds its entry into the wardrobes of the fashionably inclined in the region. The prime highlight of the Collection on display at the Anantnag showroom would be the exquisite range of Expandable Trousers & 3-in-1 Cargos and the Flat 80% off on Jackets & Sweaters and Buy 1 get 3 Free on Shirts, Trousers, Denims, Cargos, Full Sleeves T- Shirts & Coat Suits.

The two-year-old brand, Cotton County has carved a niche for itself in the immensely competitive ready to wear apparels market as a value for money brand across Northern & Eastern India. Besides adding another 600 plus stores by 2009, to its already existent 425 outlets, the brand is also eyeing newer and hitherto unexplored markets like the Western states like Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.

Synergizing with its brand mantra of creating a true niche for itself in the mass volume branded apparel wear segment, Cotton County has successfully followed the reverse roadmap strategy with initially launching stores in select Tier II & III centers in a state / region and then moving towards unveiling outlets in metros thus creating a brand fervor & consumer enthusiasm amongst the target customers across the region.

Elaborating on the expansion plans of Nahar Retail Ltd, Mr. Anuj Goswami, Assistant Vice President - Sales, Nahar Retail Ltd, said “The growth opportunities have been very encouraging for us to explore newer markets and hence we have set ourselves the target of being identified as a top of the mind recall, value for money lifestyle apparels brand across all established and emerging markets alike.
