Salonity to debut its new website

The world's most respected beauty industry trade show will serve as the backdrop for the launch of a new website to serve this massive and growing industry. Over 65,000 professionals from stylists to salon owners are expected to gather at the International Beauty Show in New York City April 27 - 29, wherein Salonity, LLC will officially debut its new website, SalonGalaxy.com. The site offers to meet all of the online needs of this dynamic market, in one place.

At its core, the SalonGalaxy.com site will provide a social network for beauty professionals, anchored by free profiles for stylists and salons. With over 1.6 million licensed cosmetologists in the United States, plus more than 650,000 registered salons and day spas, the industry provides fertile ground for developing a market-specific social network.

The site will also offer a complete slate of technologies to deliver the kind of functionalities that internet users have come to enjoy from websites such as MySpace, Facebook, Google, YouTube, Monster, and Amazon. From educational resources to a platform for sharing video of artists' work, every aspect of the site has met with positive initial response from beta testers.

“Our reception by all facets of the beauty industry has been tremendous,” reports SalonGalaxy.com Partner and Marketing Director Patrick McCabe, “the amount of positive response we've received even before our official launch has been really overwhelming.”

The company has received accolades from industry artists, salon owners, manufacturers, distributors, beauty school students, school representatives, and even members of the general public. “We intended to build a site that serves as one place for all of the industry stars to meet.
