Men's fine clothing selling company Zegna inaugurated a new store in Hamburg, Neuer Wall, located at the very heart of Hamburg`s city centre close to the famous Jungfernstieg, the Binnen-Alster and the city hall on September 15st. This new directly operated flagship store represents once more the brand`s traditional and likewise innovative image.
Ermenegildo Zegna, CEO of the Group, was present at the inauguration to celebrate the opening of this boutique, with which Zegna will establish another main pillar in an exclusive shopping area, besides the other directly owned shops in Germany (Düsseldorf, Hannover, Munich and Frankfurt).
In addition to these the company also runs franchisees as Breuninger in Stuttgart and Nuremberg, Engelhorn in Mannheim, Heinemann in Düsseldorf and Stiesing in Bremen as well as selective shop-inshops with Peek & Cloppenburg West in Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Stuttgart and Frankfurt and soon in Berlin with P&C and KaDeWe.
Thanks to this sales network, Germany represents one of the company´s five top markets worldwide with a growth of 29% in 2004, and an expected increase of over 20% for 2005.
The sales area of the new store in Hamburg covers more than 350sqm and a new storefront grants an overall view of the interior, designed by Gianmaria and Roberto Beretta in cooperation with the architect`s office Bernd Leusmann in Hamburg.
All Zegna lines are available: the formal „Sartoria“ including the „Travel“-Collection; „Zegna Sport“ using technical fabrics like Aqualite; the young, fashionable „Z Zegna“; and last but not least „Couture“ offering an exclusive experience with its „Made to Measure“ service - suits, jackets, trousers, coats, shirts, ties, shoes and belts created according to the measurements and wishes of each customer, ensuring the top quality and service peculiar to Ermenegildo Zegna.
