adidas India, the leading sports brand, launched its global lifestyle brand, 'adidas Originals' in Chandigarh. Inspired by authentic historical moments in adidas' vast sporting history, adidas Originals is the ultimate aspirational street fashion label for lifestyle consumer.

Chandigarh, being one of the most fashionable cities in India has been chosen as the destination for the brand's second Indian store after its successful debut in New Delhi last year.

Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, adidas India inaugurated the store and welcomed a new era of fashion in the city with a special fashion showcase of the brand's collection.

With the launch of the adidas Originals store in Sector 17 market, the city's fashion enthusiasts can now explore the latest in international fashion and style.

The exclusive store will provide fashion-conscious consumers with a range of products across footwear, apparel and accessories which are totally separate from the collection available at adidas' sports performance stores.

Speaking at the launch, Andreas Gellner, Managing Director, adidas India said, “It gives us great pleasure to launch our premium lifestyle brand, adidas Originals in Chandigarh. The brand stands for individuality, creativity and self expression which is reflected in our collections.

The choice of Chandigarh as the second destination for the Originals brand is based on the fact that we believe that the brand will be highly popular with the city's style conscious and well-heeled citizens. We are confident that the brand will gather the same success and admiration as it has achieved internationally”.
