The city now wants to lure world renowned fashion designers to open their stores here, in order to make the city a famous fashion destination.

Miami-Dade County's Beacon Council, charged with bringing new investments in to the city, is taking initiatives to gain from the experience of European countries including Italy, France and Milan, who already occupy a prominent place in the world fashion arena.
Experts from the related field believe that, if Miami develops itself as one of the fashion districts then it will automatically attract global brands to come and showcase their creations to eager fashionistas. It would also pave the path for fashion weeks that are regarded to be the best way to promote domestic industry on global platform.
