COO of Perry Ellis selected as '2008 Entrepreneur of the Year'

Perry Ellis International Inc announced that Oscar Feldenkreis, President and C.O.O., will be honored as the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Wharton School Club of South Florida. The event will take place on May 21st at the InterContinental Hotel in Miami, FL.

Oscar Feldenkreis' keen sense of fashion, aggressive sales vision, and strong entrepreneurial drive are key factors in the continued success of Perry Ellis International, and major consideration for this award.

According to the Wharton School Club of South Florida, "As President and C.O.O., Oscar continues to develop and expand the company's portfolio, increase its brand awareness, and also maintains a strong brand presence for Perry Ellis across all levels of retail distribution."

"The Wharton School is consistently ranked one of the top five business schools in the world and has a rich tradition of developing influential business leaders. It is truly an honor to be recognized as the 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year," commented Oscar Feldenkreis, President and C.O.O.

Furthermore, in attendance as the key note speaker for the evening will be Chairman and C.E.O. of Perry Ellis International Mr. George Feldenkreis. The evenings' event will be sponsored by the Wachovia Bank N.A.
