Jimmy Choo - role model for aspiring designers

Jimmy Choo is known among global glitaratis for creating exuberant and amazing footwear and handbags that add glamorous spark to simplest of garments.

Style icons like Nicole Kidman and Gwyneth Paltrow are among some of the famous clients of Choo. Many Hollywood actors carry chic handbags and walk tall on red carpet wearing high heels from Jimmy's exclusive collection.

Jimmy is one of the most famous students of Cordwainers Technical College, which has now become a part of London College of Fashion.

His far and wide fame has made him a role model for aspiring designers world over, especially among students of London College, who want to follow the footsteps of Jimmy and make their mark in fashion arena.

Emily Lamb, graduating from the same institute and die-hard fan of Choo, is thrilled to get an opportunity of showcasing her fabulous creations at The Royal Academy of Art on the May 29. It will be a private viewing for all the biggies of fashion industry.

The awe-inspiring footwear will then be displayed for the fashion conscious fellow citizens at Graduate Show at London College of Fashion, which is scheduled from July 2 to 12. Both these expos are sure to make Lamb famous even before she gets into the business completely.

Cordwainers graduates are always highly sought after for their expertise in this field. Many alumni are renowned footwear and accessory designers. Some of them include Emma Hope, Patrick Cox, Joseph Azagury, Linda Bennett and Olivia Morris.

London College of Fashion continues to work closely with many of these individuals to help students understand the thriving accessory and footwear market, which still has tremendous potentialities.
