Actress Kristin Davis to debut fall fashion line at Belk Store

Belk announced an exclusive partnership with Kristin Davis, whose self-titled brand will debut at Belk stores this fall. The brand will initially be offered in 125 Belk stores and online at Belk.com and will be expanded to additional Belk locations next spring. The modern, feminine, style-savvy line will launch with compelling assortments of women's apparel, sleepwear, loungewear, shoes, handbags and jewelry.
The actress, best known for her role as Charlotte in the long-running HBO series now in syndication on TBS and in the recently launched movie “Sex and the City,” says that the line evokes femininity and is designed for women who love all the facets of their life and want the clothes to work for them no matter what role they are playing at the time.
“We're thrilled with our association with Kristin Davis and look forward to unveiling this exciting new line for Belk customers this fall,” said McKay Belk, president and chief merchandising officer of Belk Inc.
“Kristin is a great fit for Belk. She grew up shopping in our stores and is in tune with the fashion sensibility of our customer base. We think they'll love the modern fashion looks of the Kristin Davis brand. It's designed to capture Kristin's look and personality and to provide cutting-edge fashion assortments that customers won't find in any other store.”
“The only way I would have done a line of clothing is to do it at Belk,” said Kristin Davis. “I feel like I understand what the Southern woman wants to wear- it's influenced my personal style so much growing up in the South.”
