Kim Alexis to host TV Land's 'She's Got The Look'

Description: Supermodel Stars of "She's Got the Look" Shatter Baby Boomer Stereotypes

What's behind the latest research on the attitudes and spending habits of the nation's 78 million baby boomers? Have television and the fashion world overlooked real women in their 40s and 50s? With its new reality series "She's Got The Look," a modeling competition to find the next great supermodel age 35 or older, TV Land is at the forefront of cable and network television outlets moving to "super serve" the first generation of Americans who grew up with television.

Alexis, Johnson, and Jones will address influence, opportunities, and spending power of the 40-50 age group with results from TV Land's recent national survey of the affluent, but often-overlooked demographic market. The research reveals why baby boomers are "chameleon consumers," spend more than other demographics and resist stereotypes.

Supermodel, author and motivational speaker Kim Alexis is the host of TV Land's "She's Got The Look." Discovered at age 17 by the Elite Talent Agency, Alexis' modeling career has been marked by more than 500 magazine covers, including six appearances in the "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issues. She earned a contract as Revlon spokesperson and was fashion correspondent for Good Morning America.

Beverly Johnson, supermodel, actress, author and businesswoman who became the first African American woman to appear on the cover of "Vogue." She was named by the New York Times as one of the 20th Century's 100 Most Influential People in the Fashion Industry and featured on the cover of GLAMOUR magazine's 50th Anniversary issue, proclaimed by the editor-in-chief as having "broken all color barriers."

As TV Land President, Larry W. Jones manages all aspects of the network, overseeing programming, marketing, on-air promotion, advertising sales, original programming, series development, online, and consumer marketing.

With a slate of original programming, acquired classic shows, hit movies and full-service web site, TV Land provides entertainment programming for consumers in their 40s and 50s, catering to this audience with programming that reflects life stages and relatable experiences.

TV Land is one of Viacom's most successful businesses and one of the fastest-growing cable networks in terms of ratings, distribution and brand awareness, and is seen in over 90 million US homes.
