Rock collection set to seize attention

Established Vietnamese designers will be showcasing their latest range of ready to wear collection Hoa Da meaning Rock in HCM City tomorrow. Trong Nguyen, Nhat Minh, Nguyen Hang, Thanh Huyen and Dieu Anh are some of the designers who will display more than 125 designs.

The collection by Dieu Anh is inspired by the Rock music of 1970s that was loud and rebellious. The garments are made using bright and bold colours like magnetic pinks, shocking greens and hot reds.

Thanh Huyen is coming up with more feminine designs; the garments are made using fabrics like silk and chiffon that have floral prints on them. Her skirts, both long and short, in combination of black and white, are a perfect evening wear.

Nhat Minh has created his stunning line using khaki and cotton. His designs reflect the free spirit of the young generation that loves to experiment all the time. Although, his collection is trendy and stylish, Minh has picked up soothing colours like grey and white for highlighting the cuts and edges.

Trong Nguyen has selected various shades of yellow for designing garments. He has made extensive use of fabrics like khaki, linen and chiffon for crafting clothes that can be worn by both the sexes. Trong has also designed some glamorous overcoats that can be teamed up with his other dresses to give them a new look.

Along with an array of attractive fashion line, the designers have also created accessories including scarves, ties and handbags that will add spark and makes the wearer look all the more gorgeous.

The Rock collection show will be held in Zen Plaza, a shopping centre, is famous for offering quality garments to the fashion conscious customers of Vietnam.
