The marriage of Swift Galey's product development expertise, marketing acumen, and customer intimacy with Lucky's state-of-the-art dyeing and finishing technology, low-cost manufacturing base, and proximity to Asian markets will create a powerful marketing presence, according to Heldrich.
The twill and poplin dyeing and finishing manufacturing facility will have a capacity of 70 million yards per year. It will provide an immediate solution for customers seeking Swift Galey quality sportswear and uniform fabrics in China. Swift Galey will immediately begin assimilating the Lucky product offerings and establishing seamless customer service. The joint ventures will be known as Swift Galey Lucky.
Earlier this year, Lucky opened a state-of-the-art dyeing and finishing facility in Yixing City, positioning itself to be a leading producer of quality twill, poplin, and corduroy for the United States and other international markets.
