AS Baltika is due to open its first Ivo Nikkolo store in Riga, Latvia. By opening the store in Riga, the clothing group has lived up to its commitment to take the premium brand to all the Baltic States. The company plans to extend the availability of the Ivo Nikkolo brand in Lithuania by opening two additional stores there.

The Ivo Nikkolo brand, acquired by Baltika at the end of 2006, is to acquire an international dimension. In two years, Baltika has extended the brand's collection, updated the store environment, and opened four new stores.

According to the Chairman of the Management Board of AS Baltika, Mr. Meelis Milder, the competition in premium brand sector is not as intense compared to the fast fashion brands.

“The number of clients who prefer complete and stylish outlooks from a high quality and prestigious brand to trends of the moment is constantly increasing and Ivo Nikkolo must grow with them,” Mr. Milder confirmed.

In the long-term perspective, according to Mr. Milder, the goal is to develop Ivo Nikkolo into a fashion brand with considerable leverage in its niche both in Central and Eastern Europe.

The brand store, which opened in the Spice shopping centre in Riga, offers this year's autumn and winter collection, characterised by clothes with minimalist line, interesting cuts and high-quality materials.

The line includes chic costumes and dresses, formal sets, warm outerwear and a wide range of accessories – shoes, purses, scarves and jewellery. The store will also offer Ivo Nikkolo's jewelry collection. The range of clothes that are available in the store will be updated every two weeks.

The new Ivo Nikkolo store concept, which is characterised by a dark, saloon-like interior and a fuchsia pink clothes rack 'flowing' along the wall perimeter, has been used in the new 93 square metre store.

Ivo Nikkolo is a designer fashion brand for stylish and self-confident ladies offering haute couture fashion, distinguishable by its use of high-quality materials and interesting details.

The Head Designer of the brand is Eve Hanson, the designers being Natlia Lill and Ksenia Jedomskihh. In total, the brand operates 7 stores: four in Estonia, two in Lithuania, and now one in Latvia.

The Ivo Nikkolo brand belongs to Baltika Group, the rapidly growing fashion retailer, which operates in the markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Besides Ivo Nikkolo, the Group also operates the Monton, Mosaic and Baltman retail chains.
