'Intoxicated' is the trend theme for 'bluezone'

The colours:
Colours like straight from the laboratory — between drug store and chemical factory. Toxic turquoise and sulphur green are reminiscent of pills and tablets, while violet and cool bright green bring Japanese comic colours to mind.

Fabrics and finishes:
With coloured and transparent plastic coatings, metallic and oil sheen, fabrics have a “dirty” or an artistic surface. Rubber prints look like applied pastes. Raw denim with multiple coatings brings deep, dark shadings. Recycled fabrics have a hand-woven look. Cross-dyed stonewashed garments and elastic colour denims contrast with dark jeans. “Domestos” effects and partial destruction tune fabrics and individual garments. Patched nylons and wild, psychedelic stitched solids and prints are art objects in their own right. Everywhere you see hand-painting, sprayed designs and graphic prints — all loud and toxic.
