The new shoe merges sport-inspired design with quality and comfort, redefining the notion of luxury sportswear for the leisure needs of today's modern man.
Multifunctional is key for Zegna Sport. Whether portrayed through reversible swimwear in quick drying fabric or reversible ultra light outerwear in Aqualite and cotton cashmere. The Globe Trotter Sneaker is at the very essence of this concept with high performance cotton slip on inserts housed in a lightweight rubber shell, ideal for the man who balances a sporty and relaxed lifestyle.
The shoe consists of two multifunctional pieces which are designed to be worn together for an urban sports aesthetic, or as a separate slip-on for travel and at home leisure. The innovative, comfort-orientated inner slip-on, with its subtle, minimal design and lightweight materials, is ideal for international travel and casual comfort.
The robust EVA rubber outer-shell, created using the lightest rubber in the world, hints at a design inspiration from the worlds of professional cycling and athletics with two neat Velcro buckles, a smooth aerodynamic shape, and functional traction grips around the base of the sole.
