Nicole Hanley & Matthew Mellon introduce HANLEY MELLON

Nicole Hanley and Matthew Mellon have collaborated to launch HANLEY MELLON, a ready-to-wear line of versatile and sophisticated pieces.

Spring/Summer 2009 marks the brand's first collection, designed with the help of luxury designer Adam Drawas, who consulted for Fendi and Chanel, is inspired by heritage and lifestyle.

Symbolizing accessible luxury; in a range of color, texture and price, HANLEY MELLON's Spring/Summer 2009 line offers a selection of impeccably crafted items that are easily layered and styled.

Pieces include dinner and military jackets, wide leg and skinny trousers, high waisted shorts, vests, dresses, t-shirts, tank tops and cashmere staples. Couture details such as fabric-covered buttons, scarf hems and the use of chains accents create a stylish, chic look.

"We wanted to create a luxurious collection that could be worn and styled with ease fabulous staples that can be creatively layered.

Each HANLEY MELLON piece is full of couture detail and texture," said Nicole Hanley, Co-Creative Director of HANLEY MELLON.

"HANLEY MELLON represents a clean and pure aesthetic; pieces of the highest quality that you never want to take off. It's effortlessly chic," said Matthew Mellon, Co-Creative Director of HANLEY MELLON.

The HANLEY MELLON color palate contains striking black and white, classic navy paired grey and buttery yellow and muted earth tones such as sagey greens, washed purples and browns.

Textures include supple cashmere and luxe lacquer linen, sequin and cotton silk. The combination of a perfect fit with carefully chosen fabrics and colors offers designs that are easily integrated into a wardrobe, yet sophisticated for jetsetters of all ages.
