PZI Jeans launches 'Reshape The Runway Contest'

Oct '08
Atlanta based PZI Jeans is launching the "Reshape The Runway Contest", a model/ambassador search for women who proclaim the beauty of their curve appeal. "We are on a mission to allow women to embrace the beauty of their curves instead of trying to reform their genetic makeup. PZI Jeans is a brand allowing women to stop trying to fit into a pair of jeans that were never made with their hourglass shape in mind," explains PZI Jeans Vice President and Creative Director, Claire Jason.

PZI Jeans was founded in 2002 by Mrs. Jason and her husband Daniel Jason. Mr. Jason is PZI Jeans' CEO and President. The Jasons are both practicing attorneys. "Having a legal background has played an integral role in our success as a company," explains Mr. Jason.

"We created PZI Jeans with real women in mind, all women, especially women of color, including Hispanic women who tend to be more curvaceous. PZI Jeans are made to honor women with curve appeal because we think they represent another face of beauty in fashion," explains Mrs. Jason. "Other denim lines add a 'token' curvy fit to their line, however PZI Jeans' mission has always been to fit women with curves."

PZI Jeans are tailored to fit women who are tired of buying jeans that don't fit their thighs, hips, and rear eliminating that unsightly gape in the waist band. "We decided to add 31, 34, 36 and 38 inch inseams so that our customers, short and tall can buy her jeans off the rack with no more costly alterations," says Mrs. Jason.

PZI Jeans was recently tapped by Inc. Magazine as one of the Fastest Growing Private Companies in America, an accolade shared by companies as notable as Microsoft and Oracle.

PZI Jeans are available in sizes 4-16 at select Macy's Stores and over 600 retail stores. PZI Jeans are shipped from their distribution center in Tucker, Georgia to customers and retailers throughout the United States and worldwide, with plans to expand into South America.
