Prime Outlets - St. Augustine welcomes iconic designer Gucci

Prime Outlets announced Gucci will open an outlet store location at Prime Outlets - St. Augustine.

The 3,879 square foot store will open during the shopping destination's $35 million, 90,000 square foot expansion and renovation grand opening celebration beginning Fri., Nov. 7. Gucci Outlet Store will be the iconic fashion designer's only location in the southeast U.S.

"Prime Outlets - St. Augustine offers shoppers a compelling collection of globally-recognized designer and leading brand-names and we are thrilled Gucci has chosen our center as the home for its newest outlet store."

"As today's consumers are becoming increasingly value-conscious as they remain brand loyal, Gucci Outlet Store will surely be a draw for outlet shoppers from Florida and nearby Georgia, as well as for international visitors," said Prime Retail Senior Vice President of Marketing Karen E. Fluharty.

Gucci Outlet Store will offer shoppers 30 to 50 percent off merchandise including apparel, shoes, handbags and other accessories. It will join leading designer and top brands such as Cole Haan, HUGO BOSS Factory Store, Jones New York, Juicy Couture, kate spade, Kenneth Cole, Michael Kors and Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH at Prime Outlets - St. Augustine.

Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci is one of the world's leading luxury brands. Gucci designs, manufactures and distributes high-quality and highly desirable products such as leather goods (handbags, small leather goods, and luggage), shoes, ready-to-wear, silks, timepieces and fine jewelry.

Eyewear and fragrances are manufactured and distributed under license by global industry leaders in these two sectors.

Gucci's core values are uncompromised craftsmanship, outstanding quality and absolute made in Italy (with the only exception of watches, which are produced in Switzerland).
