Branded consumer products firm K2 Inc reported net sales for the third quarter ended September 30, 2005 of $340.4 million versus $333.5 million in the prior year. GAAP diluted earnings per share were $0.32 in the third quarter of 2005 as compared to $0.26 for the third quarter of 2004. Operating income in the third quarter of 2005 was $32.0 million as compared to $27.6 million for the 2004 comparable period, and net income for the 2005 third quarter was $16.7 million, as compared to $13.2 million for the third quarter of 2004.
