The next appointment with FIMI, the children's fashion fair, and Zero to Four, the Baby and Child Care Show is from Friday 16th to Sunday 18th January 2009 at Feria Valencia. The two top quality shows aimed at children's products give industry professionals an unbeatable chance to see the latest new introductions and trends.

In this regard, the planning committees of both fairs, together with the ASEPRI and PROBEBÉ business associations, have committed themselves to exchanging know-how and info in order to jointly develop the lines of action to boost the product offer available from the industry, to improve customer attention and strengthen the buyers programme. This will all have a positive repercussion on the image and profile of both events and enhance the possibility of sharing added value actions.

As Rafael Cubel, director of Consumer Goods Fairs, said “it is important to join efforts. We have two active committees who are already working to ensure the best possible showcase and two associations: ASEPRI, reference association for FIMI, and PROBEBÉ, for Zero to Four, who are taking a proactive stance that enables a fluid direct relationship with the professional we are aiming at”.

ABOUT FIMI FASHION SHOW:
Over its 46 years and 67 editions so far, FIMI has managed to make Spain a leading fashion country, boasting a differentiated and differentiating children's fashion. And our Pasarela FIMI fashion show is the most visible sign of that differentiation.

Pasarela FIMI, the FIMI FASHION SHOW, is one of the fair's biggest attractions, an event showcasing everything that's new for the coming season, in this case for Autumn Winter.

Pasarela FIMI ranks among the world's top children's fashion shows and is valued highly positively by more than 90% of trade visitors to the fair. Right from the very beginning, the show found an instant echo.

In fact, Pasarela is now at the very core of the fair, featuring leading brands from Spain and abroad with their respective collections, carefully selected by the FIMI Fashion Committee. The special design and concept are further keys to its ongoing success.

FIMI FASHION SHOW is a chance to shine out and be differentiated. After prior consultation and advice from renowned fashion experts, the show selects a series of collections for the catwalk.

The Pasarela FIMI Advisory Committee, made up by fashion experts from the media, assesses features like creativity, differentiation through innovation, fashion concept based on trends and/or the personal proposal or design of the collection. Other aspects, like adaptation to users, brand awareness, media impact or company's history, are also taken into account.

FIMI organises one of the best known international children's fashion shows, with a huge international impact. In fact it generates up to 70% of the news related to this sector.

Feria Valencia - FIMI signed a collaboration agreement with Fundación ONCE, a foundation working to promote the integration of children with disabilities. A challenge full of hope for the total integration of kids.

The agreement will allow the involvement of children from the foundation in Pasarela FIMI, wearing clothes from the participating firms. A new experience that helps us to learn that difference is to feel different.
