Patterns remain a key component in fashion but are no longer as “loud” as this summer. Checks are the “chart toppers“ for masculine, relaxed Wild West looks, as gingham checks or plain block checks. Washed-out millefleurs femininise sportswear in “pioneering girl” styles. Folkloric lace is less ornate but part and parcel of Latin-inspired and ceremonial styles that also toy with chiffon, tulle and organza.
Visitors rated the fresh colour schemes for the new season very highly – ranging from cool, neutral nuances to pastel shades and lush hues with an ethnic air. The next munichfabricstart-pre collections will run from 1 to 3 September in Munich at the M,O,C, and the Zenith Hall.
