Blend's new men's only store comes alive at Gran Via 2, Spain

Blend A/S, one of the largest fashion houses in Europe, announced the opening of its new men's only store in the Gran Via 2 mall in Barcelona, Spain with a striking and decidedly different interior design and attitude.
With 55 Blend stores throughout Europe -- the location at Gran Via is the second Blend store in Barcelona to roll out the new retail concept. The new store concept is designed to dramatically elevate the shopping experience for the Blend consumer. Like a favourite pair of 'worn in' jeans, the store provides an atmosphere of comfort, casualness and style.
Customers entering the Barcelona store immediately resonate with the garage-sale, laid back lounge areas, where guys feel like they are hanging out in their best friend's basement. Its cool, industrial, second-hand vibe instantly reflects the Blend brand -- unapologetic, uncensored, unpretentious and undeniably urban.
The Barcelona store draws inspiration from urban youth environments, where a wooden pallet is a potential piece of furniture, and an iron pipe is an appliance. Worn, raw and simple materials make up the store's industrial furnishings.
The new store concept goes beyond providing a unique visual experience, though, by creating the perfect backdrop for the affordable, modern, optimistic rebellion of the Blend collections. The architectural elements are intentionally modular to provide an easy evolution as collections and generational attitudes shift. Blend's various collections sit in distinct spaces to help customers find the right look fast, each telling its own story that underscores the diversity of the Blend brand. Every zone in the store explodes with the distinct and individual styles that make up the Blend collections.
Owners, Quique Andreu and his wife, Cali Balado have taken every detail into account as they launch their second Blend store in Spain. “The new design concept focuses attention on our products as soon as customers step in the door,” says Quique Andreu. He adds that the unpolished background generates an underground ambience packed with contrast. “We are thrilled to be providing the Barcelona market with such a dramatic shopping experience.”
The newest Barcelona store is located at Gran Via 2, Av. De la Gran Via, 75, 0908 Hospitalet de Llobregat.
