Fall II/Holiday, FOCUS & TRANSIT for fashion retailers

The California Market Center (CMC) will welcome retailers from around the world to the Fall II/Holiday '09 Los Angeles Fashion Market. The upcoming Fashion Market will feature hundreds of brands in the CMC's permanent showrooms as well as hundreds of temporary exhibitors throughout three featured tradeshows: FOCUS | Apparel & Accessories Show, TRANSIT | LA Shoe Show, and Brighte by ENK.
On the first Friday of the LA Fashion Market, retailers will be invited to attend a lunch-time seminar presented by the California Fashion Association (CFA) and Focal Technology Solutions, as well as an evening Cocktail Reception and Fashion Show hosted by Fashion Business Inc. Additionally, retailers will be able to enjoy various services and hospitality throughout the Fashion Market.
This Fashion Market, FOCUS | Apparel and Accessories Show (June 13-15, 2009 in the Penthouse on the 13th Floor, A-Wing) will feature over 40 artist-driven, new and independent designers. Within FOCUS, Buzzflikr PR returns to host the “Catch a Buzz” Lounge, Saturday – Monday, June 13 – 15, 2009 from 9:00am – 5:00pm.
Buzzflikr will be providing complimentary coffee in the mornings as well as beer and wine in the evenings. Additionally, the Buzzflikr team will be on hand to provide retailers with free public relations, branding and web/IT advice. Across the way, TRANSIT | LA Shoe Show will take place in the Penthouse on the 13th Floor, B-Wing, from June 14-15, 2009 and will showcase over 100 footwear brands including new exhibitors Michael Kors Shoes, Espadrilles Italy, and more.
On Friday, June 12, 2009 at 12:00pm, the CMC, CFA and Focal Technology will present a FREE seminar in the Annex space in the Main Lobby (next to registration) along with complimentary lunch. The seminar will review “How to Use Online Media to Create Additional Business for Your Store,” with speakers, Ilse Metchek of CFA, Deborah Levine of the California Market Center, Shahin Kohan of Focal Technologies and Diane Hileman of The Sperling & Hileman Group. That evening Fashion Business Inc. will present a Fashion Show featuring the collection of up & coming designer and FBI member, Ximena Valero. The complimentary cocktail reception will begin at 5:00pm, followed by the fashion show at 5:30pm in the FBI space in the 7th floor C-wing of the CMC.
In addition to the daily complimentary breakfast in the Buyers Lounge (Suite B271), the 5th Floor “On5” will provide a space to re-charge and relax. From Friday-Sunday on floors 5A, B&C buyers will be able to stop in from 9:00am-11:30am for coffee service, from 2:00pm-4:00pm for specialty coffee & mini desserts and from 4:00pm-6:00pm for wine & savory pastries. Additionally on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Fashion Market from 12:00pm – 4:00pm Los Angeles Salon, Oliver Ifergan Atelier will be “On5” toprovide retailers will dry-cuts, styling and hair consultations.
