CPH Vision with a new team at new location

On Wednesday 5 August Copenhagen Fashion Fairs presents the CPH Vision Press Show to an audience of Danish and international press from the most significant fashion and trade publications and media.

Presented at the beautiful and historic Børsen building - the old Copenhagen Stock Exchange - the CPH Vision Press Show includes an eclectic mix of S/S 10 styles from Danish and international brands and designers exhibiting at Copenhagen Fashion Fairs. It will be a show aimed at captivating all the senses in a constellation not previously seen at the CPH Vision Show.

Behind the production and concept development is Jesper Emil Christiansen, who after years of running one of Denmark's leading model agencies, recently started the new production company with the same name. "I am very excited to be appointed to develop and produce the CPH VISION show this season. It will be a new constellation of fashion creatives who will conduct and interpret the SS10 collections for the show. We are very focused and keen on striving for new and optimistic perspectives in everything we do. With the challenges facing the fashion industry at the present time, we believe in the importance of an optimistic, yet realistic view of what the future will bring. We feel it's our obligation to rethink and develop new concepts and new ideas. With an innovative mindset and international standards for everything we do, our goal is to make a difference and deliver a fantastic show." Jesper Emil

New stylist on board
On board to style the show is former COS designer and creative director Michael Kristensen who is back in Denmark to give his take on international trends and the most significant Spring/Summer styles for next year. In 2005, Michael was hand-picked amongst 10 international designers to design and develop H&M's high-end brand COS. After a long international career, he is back on home soil to create an exclusive yet playful show that will stimulate the audience's sense of smell and make us walk away with a taste of spring/summer 10 in our mouths.

"My ambition is to create a strong show with a clear message, to have someone behind the scenes taking decisions and having an opinion on each and every single component of the bigger picture - in terms of set-up, trend research and location. Without forgetting the essential thread that runs through the entire show, it's important to represent as many of the exhibitors as possible. With this show we want to open the doors on Scandinavia. We aim to create a show that reflects our quality of life and plays on more than one sense. A show that leaves you feeling good about yourself". Michael Kristensen

Quality is the overall criterion for the show as huge effort will be put in order to achieve a high-quality and well-run show - from the clothes to the models, to make-up and choreography. An impressive line-up of Danish and international models will be flown in to Denmark to hit the catwalk.
