The American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) welcomed a new member to its Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Eric R. Hamburg, CEO of Russell-Newman Brands Inc, has joined the AAFA Board of Directors.
“I look forward to working with Eric on many of the critical policy issues facing the U.S. apparel and footwear industry,” said AAFA Board of Directors Chairperson Carol J. Hochman, CEO of Triumph Apparel Marketing.
“His expertise and leadership will be valuable as we continue our work of creating and expanding opportunities so that our industry can maintain a competitive edge in the global marketplace.”
“Eric will be a strong voice for intimate apparel producers and brands in the United States,” said AAFA President and CEO Kevin M. Burke. “I am thrilled he has agreed to serve on our Board of Directors. Our members will benefit from Eric's thoughtful guidance and insight as we strive to overcome the current challenges facing our industry.”
Hamburg assumes the Board position vacated by David Martino who retired as CEO from Russell-Newman in June.
