Bella Center hosts prize-giving during CPH Design Week

During Copenhagen Design Week at the end of August, Scandinavia's first design fair CODE09, which is being held in Bella Center, is hosting the prize-giving ceremony at which the winner will be announced of the INDEX:AIGA Aspen Design College Challenge, “Designing Water's Future” – a competition among students worldwide to develop designs which meet the growing global water challenges.
The press are invited to attend the prize-giving ceremony on Wednesday 26 August 2009 at 16.00-17.00 at CODE, Bella Center, Hall H, Indgang Øst (EAST Entrance)
When Copenhagen Design Week opens for the first time at the end of August (27 August – 6 September 2009), the design fair COpenhagen DEsign (CODE09) in Bella Center is hosting the prize-giving ceremony for INDEX: | AIGA Aspen Design Challenge, “Designing Water's Future”.
The competition has been running since May last year, and more than 700 students from 28 countries have participated. From the 700 participants, an international jury has selected seven finalists, of which the winner will be revealed for the first time at CODE09 (27 August – 30 August 2009). The prize is DKK 50,000. The different projects from the seven finalists will also be on display at CODE07, and the seven finalists will be present when the prize-winner is announced.
The exhibition is a joint project between INDEX:, THE CONFEDERATION OF DANISH INDUSTRY and CODE09. The prize is sponsored by JL-FONDET.
