The collection is inspired by a soul-searching story of a boy despised by his father and manipulated by his mother and eventually growing up to be the most admired military commanders of all time. What follows is a remarkable spiritual journey of world conquests, thereby defining a whole new classical era in world history. The collection sees a depth of emotions depicting the ruler's power, his gentle sensitivity and love for rich cultural influences. His legacy is aptly titled 'Alexander the Great'.
The rich red accent in the collection is a celebration of power, thus defining his victories over the world. The use of luxurious fabrics portrays the splendid lifestyle he led both through war and rule. The color palette predominantly being off-white is woven together for a simple need of purity in his life after the bloody conquests. The colour gold is a strong influence in the king's life for it strongly defines who he is.
The silhouettes are mainly hand draped with a deep sense and need for utility. There is a mix of contemporary and vintage Indian sensibilities. A strong mix of chenille yarns and threads to create them becomes the body of the fabric used.
