Tandy Leather Factory inaugurates 50th retail store

Texas based leading Leatherwear Company Tandy Leather Factory Inc announced that it is opening a Tandy Leather retail store in San Antonio, Texas this week. This is the eighth retail store opened in 2005 and the 46th retail store located in the United States. There are also four Tandy Leather stores in Canada.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Wray Thompson, commented, "This store opening marks the halfway point of the expansion that we started in 2001 and will be a solid complement to our Leather Factory wholesale distribution center in San Antonio. Jonathan Wurdinger will be managing the new store. He spent two years training in San Antonio so this will be an easy transition for him being that he is already familiar with the market."
US based Tandy Leather Factory Inc, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, is a specialty retailer and wholesale distributor of a broad product line including leather, leatherworking tools, buckles and adornments for belts, leather dyes and finishes, saddle and tack hardware, and do-it-yourself kits.
The Company distributes its products as The Leather Factory through its wholesale distribution centers and as Tandy Leather Company through its retail stores.
