The trade fair for French high-end manufacturing of ready-to-wear, accessories and household linens brings together almost 80 manufacturers whose expertise can bring to life the imagination and inventivity of couture and ready-to-wear designers for high-end "Made in France" creations. Made in France by Fatex is a concentration of techniques and know-how which prove the value of French creation and give our creative industries worldwide recognition.

For the first time, Made in France by Fatex opens its doors to the general public on March 31, 2010 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Bourse de Commerce. In this fair of fascinating diversions, the visitor will be able to better grasp what "Made in France" means for consumer fashion goods thanks to :
• The extensive offer : the sophistication, extreme technicity, rich know-how and passionate virtuosity of the industrial craftsmen exhibiting.
• An exhibition of 22 unique pieces humorously evoking Elsa Schiaparelli, a fashion designer who worked closely with the surrealists. Imagined by Australian, Indian, Dutch, Spanish, English, Russian, Brazilian, Swiss, Mexican, Thai and of course French students, from the INSTITUT FRANÇAIS DE LA MODE, these creations, announcing tomorrow's fashion, were realized with Made in France by Fatex exhibitors.
• The dexterity, skill, ingenuity, mastery and chic perfectly suiting the trade fair values welcomes visitors at the entrance with a "Jungle" Smart twenty-five covered in a 570-piece saddle-stitched patchwork of vegetabletanned pony conceived by Guy Rautureau et du groupe Jean-Baptiste Rautureau which required 800 hours of work. A collection of Rautureau furniture reinforces this feat at the VIP club.
• Finally, on an educational note, at 6:30 p.m. in the Salle Baltard a conference with a panel of specialized professionals will address all the good reasons to dress in Made in France.Made in France by Fatex will be inaugurated by designer Agnès B on March 31st at 6:00 p.m.
