The AAA range is the epitome of cool. Sophisticated detailing and specialised fabrics make it a luxurious range with a rebellious edge.
'AAA was born out of a seed of an idea whilst styling bands and musicians for our Flagship New York store opening it became apparent that whilst we may happen to have a fleeting Rock and Roll trend in store what we needed was a more permanent one with a music DNA that our customer could buy into regardless of seasonal influences. A range that made you feel and look like a rock star.' Gordon Richardson, Topman Design Director.
AAA will launch on May 27th at selected flagship stores including London, New York and on-line. The range modelled by the quintessentially cool Louis Simonon, son of iconic Clash bass player Paul Simonon, is heavily influenced by music with a rock 'n' roll heritage; Louis was the perfect choice to wear this collection.
The overall silhouette is skinny and lean; a 'spray on' effect appears in the form of jersey jeggings, leather effect trousers, and ultra skinny coated jeans. Metallic leather gillets are worn over hand drawn slouch jersey vests; high shine slim blazers are teamed with classic crisp white shirts, and loose knit jumpers create a relaxed yet edgy feel. Accessories play a key part of the rock aesthetic; add a studded leather belt, luxurious velvet skinny scarf or a feather tipped trilby to complete the look. Key pieces include contrast collar tux suits, lambs leather bomber jackets, and elongated, sheer knitwear.
