The Front Row, style event by Bethesda Row

Federal Realty Investment Trust announced the second annual style event, The Front Row, May 20 - May 22, at Bethesda Row. The three-day event will feature in-store fashion events, culinary tastings, beauty demonstrations, celebrity appearances and runway fashion shows at Bethesda Row.

The Front Row begins Thursday, May 20 at 11 a.m. with beauty consultations at bluemercury, a designer denim-fitting event at Urban Chic, jewelry trunk show at Sassanova, wine tasting at Bella Italia, and a designer appearance at Lou Lou. Thursday evening's signature event is the Washington, D.C. launch of Arm Candy, the newest release from author Jill Kargman. In addition to a reading and book signing, the evening will include cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, and cupcakes from Georgetown Cupcake. Hosted by Washington's fashion notables Sharon Bradley, Sabrina Clopton, Susanna Quinn and Ashley Taylor, the event will take place at Ginger on Bethesda Lane.

Friday, May 21 kicks off with designer appearances at Urban Chic; a meet and greet with bluemercury founder Marla Malcolm Beck, an M.Z. Wallace trunk show at Sassanova, a designer "tee" party at Luna, and a Calypso St. Barth trunk show at Ginger. Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. on Bethesda Lane join Project Runway finalist Laura Bennett and front row fixture and fashion icon Tinsley Mortimer at The Front Row runway event. Bethesda Row retailers Daddy & Son, Ginger, J. McLaughlin, Lou Lou, Lucy, Luna, Pink Palm, Sassanova, The Waygoose, Urban Chic and Wear It Well take to the runway with the latest fashions and fall trends. Runway hair will be styled by Bubbles Salon, with makeup by Bobbi Brown for bluemercury. Following the fashion show, Laura Bennett will read and sign exclusive editions of her newest release, Didn't I Feed You Yesterday?: A Mother's Guide to Sanity in Stilettos, for Front Row guests.

Saturday, May 22, sip and shop at J. McLaughlin, stop by a cashmere trunk show at Sassanova, or try a LuluLemon Athletica pilates class. Throughout the weekend at Bethesda Row, The Front Row exclusives are available at Georgetown Cupcake, Barnes & Noble, Cork & Fork, Le Creuset, The Papery, Pink Palm, The Waygoose, Urban Country, Wear It Well and more.
