Specific sections devoted to children's footwear at Modacalzado

The next edition of MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL, which is due to take place between 24th and 26th September at Feria de Madrid, will feature two new and specific sections devoted to children's footwear and the medium/high-quality footwear segment. In this respect, IFEMA, the body that organises the fair, will continue to update and renew the appeal of MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL, in this case by creating particular points of interest relating to very specific types of footwear.

The success that the fair has achieved with its creation of ESPACIO GLAM back in September 2009, combined with the 250% increase regarding the number of participants at its edition in March 2010, has led MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL to launch these new sections at the fair. Thus, according to the fair's Marketing Manager, Félix Pérez Fajardo, "the creation of these two areas enables us to pursue a two-fold objective.

On the one hand, we are able to offer a new setting for companies from the sectors involved and, on the other, set up areas of highly attractive design within the fair itself that will catch the eye of footwear buyers". "These stands", Pérez-Fajardo continues "are proposed as an alternative to the free-design stands, given that they have a highly competitive price and make it possible for exhibitors to lower their participation costs, the largest expense being that which relates to the assembly of their own stands".

These areas will create an attractive image, based on the use of a modern and homogeneous type of fair architecture. As a whole, they constitute an excellent alternative with regard to the modular or free-design stand, featuring designs that are more open and of lower height, located around a square. These stands will generate their own ambience, creating a feeling that is highly attractive to visitors and exhibitors alike.

In the same way as has occurred with ESPACIO GLAM, MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL will promote both sections among trade visitors by designing a series of specific advertising supports.

The twenty-sixth edition of MODACALZADO + IBERPIEL will take place between 24th and 26th September (Friday to Sunday) and will occupy Halls 8 and 10 at Feria de Madrid.
