Social media fans to choose next face of Levi's Girl

Looking for the opportunity to channel your ideas, outlook and discoveries to millions of people around the world? There are only seven days left for consumers to apply for the new role of Levi's Girl, the face and voice for Levi's women in the digital space. Video submissions documenting why you are the ideal candidate for this exciting new job will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. PDT on Sunday, June 20.

"Last year, we empowered the 'Levi's Guy' – our social media coordinator – to be the voice of the Levi's brand to our Facebook community of 300,000+ fans," said Kristin Bannister, Levi's Director of Women's & Digital Marketing. "We're excited to add a second vibrant Levi's voice to capture the female essence of the brand and communicate directly with our female fan base. We hope to engage with loyal Levi's fans across the country to help select the candidate who will step into this role."

Later this month, during the second phase of the "Levi's Girl" contest, the Levi's brand will select the top five contest submissions and community members will then have one week to vote for their favorite candidate. Announced at the end of July, the lucky winner will receive a six-month paid position to work alongside the "Levi's Guy" in Levi's marketing department. The new "Levi's Girl" will be relocated by Levi's to work at the company's headquarters in San Francisco.

Social media-savvy candidates who live in the United States, are 18 years old or older and have a keen sense of style are encouraged to enter the contest. The ideal candidates are honest, brave and passionate about making an impact in their communities with an eye on global issues.
