Fur and Leather Garments have always been a desirable clothing item for both men and women in the past and present. There is no doubt that each man has at least a single leather jacket and a woman has a fur coat in his/her wardrobe which are sometimes worn at the very special occasions or just like leather jackets, a sign of comfortness, are used in daily life.

The derivative products from leather and fur such as shoes, bags, belts, gloves and headgears have been the major accessories for both men and women for the daily wear and special occasion wear for so many years.

Eurasia Trade Fairs, holding LeShow Kazakhstan for the Fifth time at Atakent Exhibition Center, will once again be bringing exclusive (high priced), moderate and low priced leather and fur garments, goods and accessories from all around the world under the same roof on 21-23 August 2010.

The last edition of LeShow Kazakhstan welcomed 25 exhibitors from Kazakhstan, Turkey and China on a net exhibition area of 1200 sqm and a number of 5500 visitors in three exhibition days. The exhibitors showcased the following products: Fur and leather garments, belts, shoes, bags, and fashion accessories.

The majority of the visitors came from Kazakhstan and from the countries like Kyrygzhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Qatar, Turkey, Belgium, India, Pakistan and Thailand.

Leshow attracted visitors from the following cities of the CIS region: Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Burundai, Kapchagai, Karaganda, Kaskelen, Kentau, Kokshetau, Pavlodar, Cemei, Talgar, Talgikargan, Aktobe, Taraz, Uralsk, Ust Komenanghost, Shymkent), Russia (Moscow, St.Petersburg, Novosibirsk), Uzbekistan (Tashkent), and Kyrygzhstan (Bishkek).

In order to cover a broader scope of buyers, ETF organized a visitor delegation consisted of top notch buyers of 20 delegates from the different cities of Kazakhstan, and Bishkek (Kyrygzhstan). The transportation costs of the delegates were borne by the organizer “ETF”.

The exhibitors were happy to welcome such a good number of visitors during the show which indicated that the negative effects of the crisis in the region are slowly wearing off and the demand of Kazakh consumers to the leather and fur products is immense.

Kazakhstan is a new market for most of the exporters worldwide. As it is a new market, most of the exporters have doubts or hesitation before they take a final participation decision. However, the ones who had decided to join our show before, witnessed the true dynamism of the market and the fact that Leshow Kazakhstan acts as the only bridge between the producers and the wholesalers, retailers in Kazakhstan and the neighbouring
countries.

90% of LeShow exhibitors are composed of manufacturers which look for agents or partners to buy in bulk. Leshow Kazakhstan is built to cater that need and besides, to showcase the dynamism of the market which definitely indicates that Kazakhstan is a country one should invest in.
