This year FRANCAL sponsored the visit of 60 importers from different countries in Latin America to the fair. In addition, through the Buyer Project and the Image Project, promoted by the Brazilian Footwear – Export Promotion Program of Abicalçados and Apex-Brasil, 17 foreign buyers and 20 foreign journalists came to the fair to get to know the market and straighten business with Brazilian footwear.
Stimulating business FRANCAL 2010 helped stimulate business in the city of São Paulo, the largest financial center in Latin America. The number of reservations in hotels this year increased by 24% over the last edition. This figure confirms a ranking prepared by SPTuris, the official city tourism entity of São Paulo, released at the beginning of this year, that ranks FRANCAL as the sixth most lucrative event in the city. In the trade show category, it came in first place.
