Jayne Pierson once again encapsulates innovative and intricate designs that fuse her strong silhouettes and conceptual vision, uniquely flattering the female form. With recent features in Vogue Italia's 'New Talent' section and celebrity commissions from La Roux and Charlotte Hatherley the Jayne Pierson label is building a vanguard of loyal followers.
Pierson's third season produces a collection that is highly anticipated with an exclusive presentation to be held at On|Off, London Fashion Week on Friday the 17th of September 2010 at 8:30pm.
The Jayne Pierson Spring Summer 2011 'Twin Parallel' Collection consists of the finest leather drapery, rich taffetas and exquisite bespoke prints that are visible throughout the collection. The prints emanate a complexity in physical systems, a 'Twin Parallel' that defies intuition, theory and structure of space and time. Pierson expertly observes the existence of gravitational time dilation and engages with the notion that one could change the past to re-create a different future. History is re-written. Languages have evolved.
Historical references are evident in the high-end construction and Pierson's articulate designs with engineered seam details and hand-drawn prints combined with the use of luxury foiled leathers clearly depict her collection as futuristic yet uniquely timeless. Twelve looks encompass her collection including accessories and sophisticated footwear.
The presentation will incorporate a collaborative film with director Justin Anderson, a well-respected and independent film maker who has showcased his work on Showstudio, British Vogue and Vogue Italia.
