James Avery named top jeweler of 2005

James Avery jewelry includes handcrafted designs in silver, 14 and 18-karat gold and gemstones. Stores are currently showcasing new holiday jewelry in classic and contemporary designs, including Athena and Fountain Chandelier Ear Posts, an Aegean Weave Link Bracelet, Pearl and Onyx Necklace and Ear Posts and a Vintage Onyx Ring.
James Avery operates three retail locations in Austin, nine in Houston and six in San Antonio. Nationally, James Avery operates 39 stores in Texas, Georgia, Oklahoma and Colorado. Store locations can be found at www.jamesavery.com/store-locations.
The company was incorporated to James Avery Craftsman Inc in 1965, and two years later with the help of a modest loan from the SBA, the company headquarters was constructed on 20 acres in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Kerrville, Texas, not too far from that original garage. In 1988 James Avery received a San Antonio Entrepreneur of the Year award.
The strategic goals of the company include a three-prong effort of reaching and satisfying our customers through retail stores, mail order and on the internet.
James Avery has five manufacturing plants – one each in Hondo, Fredericksburg, and Kerrville, Texas and two in Comfort, Texas. Our retail stores are located in Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, and Colorado and will number 40 retail stores by the end of 2005.
