Henry Hunt's new Autumn/Winter collection

Catwalk glamour comes to the country with the launch of the new autumn and winter collection from the exciting new country clothing label Henry Hunt.

The rich and flamboyant colours of the autumn season: hot reds, deep burgundies and brilliant tartans are the inspiration for the Henry Hunt ladies' collection which follows the key autumn trend for vibrant colours.

Traditional tweed has never seemed so sexy as it is cleverly teamed with luxurious textures such as satin and lace for a sensual look that will appeal to the dedicated fashionista as well as the country girl next door.

The women's collection introduces chunky winter knits edged with silk, plus cotton checked shirts, quilted jackets, chinos, and waxed jackets trimmed with tartan, luxuriously soft faux fur stoles and cute tweed skirts individually finished with satin scooped tulip pockets. Mohair socks specially commissioned from the West Country based Corrymoor Socks finish the collection with comfort and style.

The new collection brings high fashion to the county set, mixing British craftsmanship and tailoring with a modern twist.

The men's autumn and winter collection sees the same emphasis on warm autumn colours, soft cotton checked shirts, quilted gilets, and jackets edged with rich coloured cord, as well as essential winter knits.

Henry Hunt is the brainchild of twenty one year old fashion student Phoebe Garlick from Somerset, who aims to inspire a new modern and diverse generation to embrace quintessential English country style. Phoebe, who was herself inspired by designers such as Vivienne Westwood and classic British brands such as Burberry, has created a new collection that uses cutting edge design and individually finished pieces made with luxurious and top quality British materials.

Phoebe believes that Henry Hunt can offer an exciting range of unique clothing for men and women: “Our clothes are original and exclusive, with individual detailing using the best materials that are locally sourced. Our tweed jackets and skirts are investment pieces for anyone who enjoys fashion and wants to buy a future vintage piece or design classic.”

But you have to be quick if you want to grab a Henry Hunt design classic, as Phoebe explains: “Our customers can be reassured that many of our pieces are individually made and exclusive, so you will not find others wearing the same design as you.

“We have a policy of when they are gone they are gone, and we want to continually update and refresh our designs and clothing lines.”
