Launch of Coach brand in Paris with Printemps

On Thursday, October 14, Coach hosted a cocktail party themed FALL IN LOVE WITH NEW YORK to celebrate the brand's launch in Paris with Printemps. The event was held at Villa Emerige, a privately owned villa in the chic 16th arrondissement neighborhood of Paris.

The space evokes the feel of a Chelsea art gallery showcasing a private art collection of works by artists such as Peter Beard and Valérie Belin among many others.

The entire ground floor of 6000 sq ft. was used for the event, featuring celebrity DJ, Samantha Ronson, and a wide array of bold-faced celebrity guests including Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds), Pascal Elbé, Myléne Jampanoi, and Vahina Giocante, and writers Eliette Abécassis and Frédéric Beigbeder. In keeping with the art-party theme, guests were treated to personalized, branded “flip books” featuring a consecutive series of photographs that appear to be animated when turned rapidly, capturing the lively crowd dancing, kissing and partying.

Coach was founded in 1941 as a family-run workshop. In a Manhattan loft, six artisans handcrafted a collection of leather goods using skills handed down from generation to generation. Discerning consumers soon began to seek out the quality and unique nature of Coach craftsmanship.
