Burberry launches A/W 2010 timepiece collection

The latest range of timepieces from Burberry is inspired by a rich heritage in innovation, style and British attitude. Referencing iconic details from the Burberry archive, drawing inspiration from the seasons ready to wear collections.
The collection with its vivacious designs, reflects the different moods and attitudes of men & women. These Swiss watches known for their craftsmanship are inspired by different shapes and innovative checks, featuring contemporary and elegant styles for men and women. 'Checks' a signature of the brand is seasonally innovated and modernized. The timepieces feature the classic Burberry checks in various dimensions.
Women's Collection:
Styles for women include the 'Burberry Cadet' watch – a military inspired timepiece previewed on the catwalk with a stainless steel case and large black dial with black or dark tan leather strap. The collection also includes 'Oversized ceramic' timepieces & 'Engraved Check' timepieces with smoked check strap. Colour palette for women includes trench, dark tan, black and white.
The range of elegant Burberry watches, encompasses polished stainless steel, rectangular and round silver dials with central time-honored, Nova Check pattern detailing and fabric mesh straps. Secured by a three link steel bracelet with Burberry Nova Check pattern embossed through the central link. Some of the timepieces also show case etched black dials with silver stone stick indices, logo and date window.
Men's Collection:
The men's styles draw inspiration from the rich Burberry history of function and performance.
One of the key styles for men this season are chronograph movement watches surrounded by 'Smoke checked' brown dials with silver index markers secured by a check trenched strap. The watches also feature polished steel case and silver nova embossed dials with sub-dials. The watches are secured by a Burberry nova effect steel bracelet and smooth black leather strap.
The other styles include an oversize military inspired timepiece with stainless steel case, canvas strap in green or black previewed on the catwalk, water resistant sports timepiece with a chronograph, stainless steel case and durable textured rubber strap in blue or yellow.
Colour palette for men includes trench, green, blue and black Burberry timepieces are Swiss made.
