SIMM is marketing the Spanish Hall at São Paulo PRÊT-À-PORTER

At its last edition, Couromoda featured the participation of more than 1,200 exhibitors and some 70,000 visitors. For its part, SIMM is the grand clothing industry event in Spain. At its last edition, which took place in September, the fair brought together 357 companies and more than 500 represented fashion brands. SIMM welcomed some 9,700 visitors, an 18.9% increase compared to its previous edition. Last September's edition not only witnessed the largest increase in the number of professionals in recent years, but also a changing trend regarding the number of professionals recorded. The fair's next edition will take place between 3rd and 5th February 2011 at Feria de Madrid.
São Paulo is the only city in Latin America that has 20 million inhabitants in its metropolitan area. It is the eighth most important fashion city in the world.
Each year, some 10 million people visit São Paulo for reasons of business and tourism or simply to enjoy the cultural multiplicit of this grand metropolis. We might also mention the large Spanish ex-pat community that lives both in Brazil and throughout the rest of Latin America, which will, no doubt, boost the interest of all the products "made in Spain" presented at São Paulo Prêt-à-Porter.
