A Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) has been awarded to the famous Perth-based fashion designer Liz Davenport for her commendable services to the fashion industry as well as community.
The designer was honored during the celebration of Australia Day 2011.
Davenport had served for more than 35 years as a local fashion icon by designing, manufacturing as well as retailing.
Her labels cater to the requirements of adult women and her collections comprise of travelwear, occasionwear and resortwear.
