Fragrance and hair care products maker Estée Lauder Companies Inc announced that Maureen Case will become President of the Company's Jo Malone and La Mer brands, effective January 1, 2006.
She will continue in her current role as President of Bobbi Brown Worldwide and will add La Mer and Jo Malone to her portfolio. In this new position, Maureen will continue to report to Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, Group President.
Since 2002, Maureen has been President of Bobbi Brown, where she has strategically taken the brand to new heights and has positioned it for faster global and regional expansion. She was instrumental in identifying additional distribution channels, most recently with the introduction of the first Bobbi Brown counter in China. Her hands-on leadership style gives her the ability to manage a wide-ranging portfolio that will be instrumental in leading the teams within these key brands.
This promotion begins an exciting new chapter in her flourishing career with The Estée Lauder Companies. Maureen joined the Company in 1975 and held various prominent positions, including Finance, Travel Retailing and Global Marketing, for many brands within the Corporation. In 1996 she branched into other arenas of the cosmetic industry, most notably as Senior Vice President, General Merchandising Manager for Fashion and Beauty for World Duty Free.
Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne stated that Maureen Case is an exceptional prestige brand builder and creative thinker who truly understands the nuances of cultural values around the world.
